deo macalma is so one-track minded. no matter how ruth abao convinces him, he still sticks to his opinion even if his opinion does not really hold much ground. it’s irritating. is this how their show ought to be? objectivity lost. broadcasters are supposed to offer such, right? for a while, I was willing to not let his sex-maniacal comments on ruth irritate me, but now, i can’t see beyond it and his annoying remarks.

stop staring…fill it

Sure you’re powerless, sure you’re just one person, sure you can’t change anything… but you don’t have to be miserable about it as well.
Lydia Lunch

Invisible war, seems we’re waging an invisible war
Strained maneouvres, keeping silent score
In this invisible war
Every day I seem to lose you more
Both wishing it was like before
In this invisible war

Talk about a fine line between love and hate
We’ve lost more than our direction of fate
Talk about a fine line between lovers and friends
We’ve never been lovers and now we’re not even friends

In this invisible war, seems we’re waging an invisible war
Every day I seem to lose you more
In this invisible war

Wounded deeply the scar is here to stay
Opening up at all the little things I do and say
You always want things to be as before
So I make you angry and you bleed a little more

In this invisible war, seems we’re waging an invisible war
Every day I seem to lose you more
In this invisible war

Want to go away
I still love you
Got to go away
I always love you
Got to be away
Time heals all wounds
Invisible war

binat

woke up this morning reflecting on the concept of “binat” … what could be the english concept for this? could it be fatigue? viruses stay on at most for a week, so one with a viral infection shud feel better after that, unless its dengue, a bacterial infection, or an allergy.

so i linger on fatigue, thinking of the stress-related body aches i experienced every morning when i was still employed full-time and used ot commute to work daily.

binat is a concept in tagalog used to refer to being sick (or just by undergoing strenous activity such as birthing) and stressing yourself very soon after and leaving less time for your body to fully recover…making you feel weaker and less able to fight off infections.

some references
safe

sinusitis — nasal congestion and face&headache. “clouded” head. flu-like symptons. for two weeks now. what? mold allergy? wheat allergy? hypoallergenic diet? i’m reminded of julianne moore’s movie “Safe,” where her character suffers from a host of… how should i say this? ahmmm undiagnosable symptoms? then she visits an allergologist (i can’t remember if the movie used that term) who tells her that she’s allergic to dairy and that she is ”environmentally ill.” remembering an alternative health center infomercial, she submits herself to the wholeness program it offers — very common nowadays but still expensive.
